Temple Beit HaYam is a place to be part of a Jewish family, Jewish history, and the Jewish future.
Families join Temple Beit HaYam for its unique combination of spiritual, intellectual, and social experiences. The Temple is a place where we learn together to grow our minds, build lifelong friendships to give life meaning and joy, and a place where we pray together to draw from each other's spirit.
Our Judaism is both authentic and innovative. At the core of our identity is Torah, a source of ancient wisdom in the ethical demands of decency, goodness, and generosity. We also celebrate the wisdom of our own times as a community that gives women and men equal standing in ritual and in leadership. We are an all-inclusive community in which interfaith families are warmly welcomed and in which everyone is treated as a reflection of the divine image.
More than one hundred children learn in our Religious School, Hebrew School, and Early Childhood Learning Center which focus on giving children joyful Jewish experiences that foster a positive Jewish identity. Our B'nei Mitzvah, Confirmation, and Youth Group Programs prepare young people for the transition to Jewish adulthood and the challenges of living Jewish values throughout life. Our Early Childhood Learning Center is a model pre-school for children of all faiths from ages one year through VPK.
Listening to the voices of Israel's prophets, Temple Beit HaYam responds to the call to care for the less fortunate and to repair our broken world.
Whatever you are looking for in Temple membership — a sense of community, spiritual nourishment, serious learning, and serious fun — we welcome your membership and participation at Temple Beit HaYam.
